Jiggawatts!

I recently did some more Cheshire POP! themed designs that I wanted to share. Among them is this  JIGGAWATTS design, which was extremely fun to draw.

Today I woke up to a nice surprise! The nice folks at Redbubble chose to feature my "Cheshire Originals - Vintage Tutti Frutti" design on the "Found" section of their homepage! It's awesome when someone is also excited about something you've created, am I right?

I Hate Mondays...

A design featuring a fairly well-known-type-looking cat, expressing how he (and sometimes how I) really feel on Mondays.

A really fun design, and I love it when color and simplicity can come together and bring about a neat finished design.

Vintage Cheshire Cat

I love the look of old vintage cartoons, like the old old old episodes Bugs Bunny or Woody Woodpecker where they just look like complete lunatics! I mean like, insane bordering on dangerous! Love it :)

I wanted to do something a little in the spirit of those, but in a big splash of bright color as well. Do you like the vintage look as much as I do?

Here's a parody design inspired by a childhood love of mine - Inspector Gadget... but only kinda, cuz it's a cat. Granted, it's probably not what you expected to see when you got up today, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless :) lol

Manchester Necktie Cat

A different kind of cat for this one, a fun guy with some crazy fur and a necktie. I kind of think of this guy as the Cheshire Cat's friend.

A Cheshire Nerdy Cat!

It's always fun to see what different "takes" you can come up with on a certain theme. Going for a more minimalist thing, I came up with this Cheshire "Nerdy Cat"...

Cheshire Scribble Stripes

Playing around with some colors and the text and stuff to just create some fun scribble-y designs, The Cheshire Blueberry Scribble Stripes design and Cheshire Raspberry Scribble Stripes design.

Catching a Cheshire Cat

Not too long ago, I was sketching some doodles for fun, and drew a crazy Cheshire cat. I did a little tinkering for good measure, and I was pretty happy with how he had turned out...

 

Most interestingly, I also realized how much fun I had making him - you know that feeling? I mean, whether you're an artist or whether you do something else, there's that thing you strive for, trying to capture moments of pure reckless curiosity. 

We all know the fun that can come from allowing your curiosity to ask "What if you drew your next line over there instead?" or "How fast could your next lap be if you leaned over this way a bit and pushed a little more?"

Anyway, when you create something, sharing it is part of the fun - and I'd love your feedback and ideas on the stuff I'll post here.
